BC: I don"t have that much later stuff covering IH; the Fel-Pro catalogs are the only ones showing both the C221 and C301 gas for the 2606; a couple others only show the C221 (they all show the diesel 236 as well). None show any 263 with the 2606. The C263 does show for the 656 and 2656, which I assume is the next step up from yours. Parts catalogs often don"t show all the engine options available, and I don"t have anything that would ID the engines. As yours would logically seem to be a 263, and with the 301 either an option or a later upgrade, I wonder if the 263 was a drop-in fit that someone put in. Sorry I can"t be on any real help. Try posting it as a new question; someone"s bound to have the answer.
