Finally got my starter installed on my F14. Many, many thanks to Fawteen for all the information he supplied through this project.
The first picture is of the flywheel laying in the kitchen table while waiting for the ring gear to heat up in the oven .... my wife was of course thrilled when she walked in and caught me.
The second picture is of the mount that I built for the starter. It wasn't quite finished when this picture was taken, but I had it on the tractor while checking clearances for the starter. I did go back and finish welding the holes closed.
The third picture is of the starter mounted in place.
