Right now it has a single 12 volt 1000 amp battery and getting ready to put the two batteries back in. It has developed a problem with overcharging the battery. it charges at like 17-18 volts, the battery gets warm! I run it with the IGN switch off and just keep the battery charged up,,, but will have to rebuild the starter for the first time in 15 years. Has some weird gear clashing in the bendix.
Far as I know everything on the charging system is stock. It has a 1466 cab on it, and going to put on new lights and fix the heater fan.
Where should I start? Might need a diagram, and some part numbers if possible. I dont wanna put the chevy alt on it. Wanna keep it just as it was, original. Key switch went bad,, it has a push/pull from an old M.
