Farmalls are great projects. I went through a long dry spell of new and new-fangled vehicles that didn't require a lot of work, but opening up my first Farmall motor took me right back to when I was a kid tearing down the wotor is my '64 Beetle. The sights and smells inside a crankcase are not be be found anywhere else.
I've done one restoration (my BN) and one overhaul (my SuperC). Some of the work required some colorful language that probably wouldn't be appropriate for 6-year-old ears, but no one should take my swearing to mean that I wasn't enjoying and finding a lot of satisfaction in working on them.
I've been in a bit of a dry spell again, as boith those tractors run well enough that it's hard to even find anything to tinker with on them. But that's coming to an end. My neighbor dragged in a 1940 A. We've got her split and the motor on a stand so far. I think it's gonna be a fun summer going through her.
