Glen: I've done these numerous times, and have 4 small forks with plate welded in, been there 20 years. Size of the flat bar is 1/2" x 1", length of exposed fork. If your not going to be using these implements on small hitch tractors, your best bet is spot weld them to the fork. They are rather a pain if you try to line them up every hitching. Great for finger injuries.
