If my C is left with the gas on and not running for any more than a few minutes there is absolutely no way it will start. Also If I give it choke when cold for any more than 2 compressions it will not start. Super A, same engine, is much the same. They seem to hate a rich mixture. As far as valves and stuff goes, if the compressions sound even when cranking you are probably OK in that department. Karl
