Hi, I removed the Transmission cover that contains the shift leaver and all the forks/sliders. My question is how do I make sure that the the forks engage the transmission properly when I reassemble it. It seems to me that It would be quite possible to have the fork miss its match and thus the transmission would not shift properlly.... or worse.
BTW this is on an IH2444 (same as the 444 as far as the transmission goes)
