My SMD will not start on gas or run on gas after it is running on diesel. This all started after I decided to degrease it with a hot pressure washer. (never again) Anyway after reading numerous post on this web site, I've come to the conclusion that the butterfly valves in the intake manifold are not closing properly. I've got good spark to the spark plugs and plenty of gas. However, very little vacuum when turning the engine over. How do I adjust the butterfly valves on this engine? I know there are adjustments to the switchover linkage. Also there are set screws on top of the intake manifold. Any suggestions? Marv
