Didn't measure cyl taper but didn't have any ridge in cyl's. Only checked rin gap in one cyl,little over ten thousands,had hard time coming up with rings,5 ring piston, 2 1/4" 2-1/8" 1- 3/32". John Deere sell a breakin powder like Bo nomi but we have decided to wait till spring to try and break it in. Just unreal how much blowby and run so good. Thanks Doug
