Farmall Boyz,Lots of ?s, Let me answer what I can, The Louisville plant produced the Super M. If others were made there I am not aware of it. At least it is only the Super M that were deliniated as Louisville tractors by the L stamp on the Serial # Tag. The Super H replaced the regular ol Farmall H. All of the Letter Series tractors began production in 1939. The Super Series didn't come into being till about 1953. As far as I know the steel knobs were on the war yrs tractors. But doesn't mean that somewhere someone might not have used older parts to fix a newer tractor. Hope this helps, If I have given any incorrect info, maybe someone else will jump in and correct me. Later, John A.
