Hi, I just purchased all the parts to install a PTO on my IH2444 (which did not come with a PTO). However the pilot bushing that goes on the front of the PTO to mate the PTO with the transmission shaft does not fit over the end of the transmission shaft. However the PTO shaft fits nicely over the end of the transmission shaft with little or not play without the bushing. Is it possible that the PTO shaft on this particular year/model did not use the bushing? BTW the bushing is Part #48594DA. I would appreciate any help. I don"t want to assemble it without the bushing a regret it down the road.
