There are three things to do that will insure the TA's survival: Shift it into and out of TA as rapidly as your hand movement will do it. (never be unsure, full stroke to TA or Direct from TA. Keep it adjusted correctly to the letter of the book. ABout twice a year of farming use, once a year if 3 or 4 hours/wk light use. Use it, it will last lon and prosper with use. It is not a break, do not try to slow down with it or go don hills with coasting in mind. Slowing under load is great. JimN
