George: Agree Red is close to the money on the asking price - have noticed in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin might even be asking a couple of more than what Red is quoting for the digging in the pocketbooks of the weekend farmers from Chicago. Have seen some pretty high prices on Fords and Cubs sitting along the highway. Jim

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
