The other thing you can do is dig up an all steel pulley that came on the Super series. Obviously they don't have the degradation problems that you see with the paper pulleys. I put a steel pulley on my H because it looked funny without one, but I wasn't going to pay almost $200 to have one rebuilt when I rarely use it.
The paper pulleys hold better belt traction versus the steel units, but it's a tradeoff to be made if you use it infrequently. I bought mine on eBay for $40 plus it cost me $8 to get it to me.
