I just cleaned up a distributor off of a super M there was an oring seal in the housing that I got at local IH dealer also the pipe plug on the side of the distributor it supposed to removed once a year ,install zerk fitting and give 1 to 2 pumps of grease to keep shaft lubed I have seen several distributors that the shaft was completely worn out , probably had never been greased since left factory
