Red: When you get the new switch, check it to make sure button is operating freely. I bought a new one last winter, and the button stuck after tractor started. Ruined both battery and starter.
My new switch came from CaseIH. I've owned 6 of these tractors lifetime, and that is first time I ever had one of those buttons stick. In fact this new switch was replacing the 50 year old original switch on my 130. I guess the Chinamen don't have the specs right, course they are making these out of recycled soup cans.
After the new battery and starter rebuild, I lubricated the button well with graphite. I do hope CaseIH is taking this to heart, I damn well wouldn't by anything new from them. And I am shopping for some new equipment.
