The steering sector oil resivor is under the front grille. Remove the muffler, air cleaner top, hood and the grille from the tractor. The oil goes in the sector housing, to check or add oil or grease, remove the plate that has 4 bolts. Use a 9/16" wrench to remove the bolts on the cover. The starting tank is used on all fuel models and is mounted on the fuel tank support with 2 bolts. The starting tank has a small filler neck coming through the top of the hood. All fuel models had Gasoline in the small tank and Distillate fuel or kerosene in the large tank. They started on gas and switched over to Distillate when the engine warmed up. Distillate was cheaper than gasoline when these tractors were new. If your tractor's serial number ends with X1, your tractor is a gas only burner and does not have any of the all fuel parts.
