The Case-IH dealer we deal with says he can get a kit that adapts older tractors to use a modern-style spin-on filter. I think he said the kit runs $20? $30?. Dunno if this is what the other guys are talking about, but I would think it would be the way to go for a working tractor(if that's what you are going to do with it).
