you want the manifold toward the bottom so the hoses dont interfere with the hood. there is a center steer spot on the torque generator so it isnt applying steering assist all the time. to find it you should splice in a pressure gauge on the high pressure supply line, then with the tractor running turn the steering wheel until you see a pressure drop from the generator. if i remember, the maual says about 200 psi and that is where you drill for the roll pin to lock down the forward shaft. e amil me if you want copys of the manuals, i have them at work on the puter there, i can email em to ya. glenn
