We use to make up our own hydraulic hoses using removable ends. You need a bench vise to hold the hose while threading the first fitting over the hose. They're installed CCW since the thread is left-handed. We would squirt some oil in the hose and then install the swivel nut using a tube fitting to lock the swivel nut until you have that installed. Here's a pic of one my spare hydraulic hoses used on my garden tractor hydraulic lift. They have been on the tractor since 1979. I use JIC steel flared fittings. Hal
