If I wanted to replace it what I need is a P/N 383088R91 and that comes up nowhere. It's 2400 RPM, 4 gears and from what I can tell doesn't fit anything else. Guess I should have picked a tractor that IH made more of ;) I'd be happy if I could find a NOS part but a rebuild is fine by me.
I thought about taking it apart but I doubt that I could fix it. I wouldn't be able to get the face reconditioned that way either. I sent a couple of emails to the places you guys listed. I'll let everyone know what I decide to do.
