This inquiry or question is a result of a discussion this past weekend. Did International keep records of numbers of tractors, etc. that they manufactured by model? What is the coding for the casting dates whereby one can use it to help determine or verify year? In the last year that a model was made, is there any way to know the last one made by serial number? Did any of this casting or serial number sequencing change when they switched from 'letter' tractors to 'number' tractors? Thanks in advance for your replies. You guys are walking encyclopedias when it comes to tractors and all the other important things that one needs to know.
