try spraying carb & choke cleaner on valve stem and let run down into guide. i just took a head off a w d i have that had old gas in and after using if the next day it wound'nt start. 3 intakes were stuck open and stuck tight. after i finaly got them out i sprayed with carb cleaner, took all varnish off. had i tried this first i think i could have saved price of gasget set.
