Hi Just curious Jim, with the engine running, anytime you push in the clutch pedal the throw-out bearing goes to work and contacts the fingers on the pressure plate. Why would the problem go away by pushing the pedal further down? When foot is not on the clutch pedal the throw-out bearing is doing nothing. I only ask because a kid I work with asked me a very simular question tonight about his Eagle Talon which I understand is something like a car. He wanted to take me on a road test but I didnt fit inside. Bob S.
