There is a gate on the wagon elevator. It operates with a rope so that ears do not fall on the ground when you come out of the field and turn at the end of the row. That's all I know about it. I have a parts book and a service manual, but no operator's manual.
How does it work ? Does the rope attach to the tractor somewhere ? Do I pull the rope when I get to the end of the row ? And trip it again when going back into the field ?
