Depend on what tractor you are working on- check the 12 volt condensor parts listing. Extra external condensor on coil could help if using the 6 volt points and condensor for test run. A couple conversion kits have a resistor coil set to work with a few 6 volt systems advertised. The Genesco kits can be had with solid state distributor sensor triggers. IHC 12 volt conversions for H and M noted to use 300, 400 ignition part numbers. RN
