When they resurfaces the deck did the get the correct recess for the sleeves. My Super C block had been resurfaced and the sleeves stuck out too far above the block (there is a spec in the manual). This caused the head gasket to leak. At that point I had to either strip the block back to a bear block to get it remachined or machine the sleeves down (which is what I did). If someone in the future overhauls this engine they will cuss me like I cussed the last guy. Roger
