I have a 450 diesel that I had the same problem. I ran it low on fuel. I changed the fuel filters, cleaned the fuel screen in the pump, cleaned the water trap, drained the fuel tank, and cleaned it. Primed it just as the book said, had fuel to the pump, but not to the injectors. To shorten up the story, the roller pin in the shaft that holds the throttle lever had sheared off. When I went to start it switch to diesel from gas no go. Replaced the pin, cracked the injectors and started right up.
