Probable causes! Points not adjusted correctly Turn engine with the dist (or mag) cap off and stop when the four lobed distributor cam is opening the points their widest. This might take putting it in High gear (IGN OFF)and rolling it until it is "on the cam lobe perfectly" The setting is .020" distributor, .013" Mag. Fuel not getting to carb. open the carb drain into a can 8oz in 15 seconds is OK, less is plugged restricted flow. Faulty ignition coil Faulty condenser Water condensation in distributor cap Good luck! JimN
