Got a 1961 Cub recently and the fan unit stopped working so I got me a used hub and all.
I noticed there is 1/2 inch long screw located on the hub. I took off the screw and the hole seemed to go down into the hub area. QUESTION - what is the purpose of the screw??? Is it to oil or grease the inside of the hub?? (Maybe that is why the old went out, because I did not oil it?)
Other than that, the little Cub with mower works great.
