I'm just looking for some opinions on how far to overhaul the engine. It started and ran good but used about the same amount of oil as it did gas, and would eventually foul some plugs I got it tore down looking at the pistons and sleeves everything looks to be in good shape I found one broken ring. I'm taking the head to a machine shop to replace valves, seats etc. would it be mistake to just put on new rings with the rebuilt head and cross my fingers
