Howdy Hal!
I must be looking at Modern and you Classic, or perhaps I'm blind [ask my wife!] , but I don't see a center space: only "Post a reply" and "Advanced Posting Tools".
However, I did try running several at once with no text (just copied from photobucket and pasted directly into the "Message body") and they look great. Though I may keep adding text for the sake of captioning anyway.
