If you have the correct starter with the sw on the rear it would be a pull. The starters for the A and B will have the sw on the front of the starter and operate with a rod that is pushed. I notice some of the replies to this question dont know the difference either. Many starters have been replaced with rebuilt one and thus the starter sw got changed and so forth but now the rebuilts will list whether front or rear button is desired.
