NO , i have used the 8500 ft. pistons that really has a dome with 450 heads and never had a problem. One thing here ya sure ya got the pistons in correctly ?? as i can not see for myself . Now keep in mind here that if you start grinding on pistons that will change the weight of said piston and if each piston is not really close to the same weight you will end up with a bad vibration . And if ya start grinding on the head then you are here again going to screw up the CC displacement of said head and your compression ratio.Like i said i am not there to see for myself and setting here we are only guessing . One other thing you did not STROKE the crank did ya. Or by chance have a M&W stroker crank in it and if this is the case then one must use either the flat top and here i am not sure on the correct piston for a stroker crank.
