Here's my W9 on the upside of a repair job. Basically, I had to replace the camshaft and then had a rear end bearing blow out.
I already got it all tore down and have started reassembling. Crank pulley came off fairly easily. I was able to get behind and lightly tap it off. And yes, I had to pull the push rods, lifters, and the oil pump to get the cam clear. I've gotten the replacement cam back in and the oil pan back up, but I'll need to have the lifters surfaced as they have some light pitting.
BTW, I set the engine to TDC cylinder #1 before disassembly, but the punch marks were not in register. The idler was off, so I reset everything per the repair manual.
In addition to this job, I also have the other end of the tractor apart as I lost a rear end bearing. Turned out the left inner axle bearing grenaded in the case. Pulled pieces of it from the inside the bull pinion cage. Didn't bust anything though. The bull pinion bearings are quiet as can be, though I'm going to replace the right inner bearing along with the left. Can't wait to see what a double groove ball bearing costs. I wonder if there is a roller bearing equivalent.
So far I'm into this job around 16 hours and it'll probably be double when the dust settles.
