If it's otherwise all there, I'd say that's a pretty good buy. However, tires add up quick enough, not to mention rims. Then depending upon what else turns up in it, and what results your plan for it, you can spend thousands easy enough rather just hundreds. To just get it running and on good rubber [assuming it didn't wind up with a cracked block or something nasty], it's still easy enough for your total to top $1000. Then again finding out how lucky you get might be half the fun!
