I"ve used Omni 182 sanding surfacer primer on top of 170 on sheet metal and it really smoothes it over exceptionally well.
Paul, I picked up the roll of plastic at Menards, I think it unfolds to 20 feet by whatever the length of the roll. It was the heavier thickness stuff.
