heres something else you can try, i ran in to this with a buddys yamaha 4 wheeler, needle kept hanging up. looking at the needle, there was a very small burr in it, and the barrel of the seat had some fine scratches, it was just enough to hang up the needle. i took some polishing compound, a "q" tip (yup like fer cleaning yer ears) and a drill, and polished the bore and the sides of the needle. so far its working good. dunno if its your problem, but worth a look see. be sure to clean all the old compound out when yer done.
