The trans & rear end are using the same fluid--tractor came from the factory with 90 wt. gear lube. Any shop work done on these --- the dealer put in Hy-tran to replace the 90 wt. The engine on our diesel takes 10 quarts. Don't know about the gas model, but our MTA takes 10 quarts also. The filters---we use IH filters on ours. The cost is slightly higher, but worth the extra. Some people use other make filters & get by. Check & clean the hydraulic box screen found at the bottom of the box on the right side. Four bolts & the screen should come out.
