What is the oil seal supposed to be made of?
Recently my steering locked up. But upon inspection, I see that my oil seal had swollen and locked itself to the shaft. At first I thought it was rusted, but in fact it swelled and jammed the darn thing.
I will not replace it if simply a good greasing will do it.
