You need to get each piston to TDC on the compression stroke so both valves are closed. You also need an adapter to fit in the sparkplug hole threads so you can connect an air hose and use air pressure to keep the valves closed. They make a valve compressor or they did years ago so you can compress the valve springs and be able to remove the keepers and springs. Then you can install the valve seals. Then reinstall the springs and keepers. Be careful you don't drop one of the keepers. Hal PS: I have one of those compressors.
