I was wondering how you set the timming in a Farmall M? I have done a search and can"t find anything on it. There is a bolt in a slotted hole and a bolt on the bottom that is not in a slotted hole that the distributor attaches to. I tried turning that but it does not want to move. I thought that was how timming was adjusted. Am I doing it the wrong way or trying to time the wrong part? Any help would be appericated. Tractor is running pretty good but not just right.
