I have used starters from B's on C's, and vice versa. I do not own an A, so there you have it. I do know that the block on all 3 is basically the same, so the assumption on my part is that they would work. Now if you are stating that the direction the starter switch is mounted is different, I would agree. on my BN, you push the starter rod foward. On my SC, you pull the starter rod back. I will tell you though that the start switch itself is the same, just mounted in reverse direction.
I guess i am in need of an education. How about posting some pictures to illustrate the difference?
