Well first off have the timing checked for full advance at full throttle . Then go back thru the carb and make 100% sure that all passages are open and will get compressed air thru them.Make darn sure that the fuel flow thru the line is full stream . Next make sure that all the manifold bolts are tight . Next change your gas grade 656's require 93 octane min. Also i'll bet the valves are noisy . If ya don't know how to set them then get someone that does.
