I pull my tractors, but I don't spend thousands on them, I just like to have fun. I keep them mostly original, but I change a few things for ease of use and because there's better technology now. For instance, In addition to sediment bowls, I use inline fuel filters to keep dirt out of the carbs. I also like to install Wix bypass oil filter kits so when I want to change the oil, I can just go buy a spin-on filter from any auto parts store and I don't have to remove a canister and make a mess. I also remove oil-bath air cleaners and run the aftermarket cone style clamp on paper air filters. They do a much better job of filtering the air and they go much longer between service intervals. I do, however keep all the original parts so I could put it all back if I wanted to.
