Brad just how big is the hole in that hose that you are coming from the filte to the primary with IF that id. of that hose is not that same size as the org. tube then you may have a restriction and this will cause low vol. to the pump and act like a plugged filter Now if this is not the case then i would guess that the plunger is on the weak side and needs replaced.I have and idea on what your trying to do here and you might need to have that pump tested on a stand to see just what it is doing.
