Question for tractor vet Ever since I"ve had my M Farmall the govenor seems to be lazy. Running along in fifth gear half throttle, when you go down a hill it slows way down then when it finally ketches up it surges all at once. Also when appling throttle you have to go two or three notches before it will speed up. Seems to be much worse after tractor comes up to operating temp. When first started works pretty good. Seem like something is hanging up. I've had it apart twice, put new pins in weights can't find anything wrong. Any suggestions appreciated. By the way I read your post on govenor adjusting. Good piece I adjusted it the way you said. Bernie Steffen
