Thanks for input guys.I think maybe I wasn't clear enough on my explaination of my problem.I know how to time the pump but the scribe mark mentioned in the timing cover on the gear side is not very clear.I tried to lightly polish the surface to reveal the line but that didn't help.I was hoping there was a way to get closer on my timing by watching the injectors or something and maybe the scribe mark would more apparent.The wheel the scribe mark is on has scratches and it's pretty much a crap shoot to which scratch is the scribe mark.Thanks again!
