Howdy, the only thing I am puttin up right now is winter firewood. Got a lot to cut yet. With all the rain and flooding I got a way late start. I helped 3 friends who were flooded out of thier houses, and my Dads woods where I cut in hill country had 12 inches of rain in one storm on top of the 4-6 inches they had the day before last june that took out most of the 1/2 mile long road culverts and all. The BAD thing is I never even put out ONE garden plant of any kind this year. Things here were way to wet and some of the locals who did aren't doing well garden wise. I plan on stopping by a place on the way back from the woods tonight to pick up some corn and "maters" so I can have some summer goodness to enjoy! Later this year I might get a small freezer so I can at least freeze those goodies next year!
