Not sure about the Cub, but the engine serial may match the chassis serial, if not it will be close. White Cub serials are thought to be 99536-106511, assembled in Jan, Feb, March of 1950. Look for casting codes on the major parts, in the form of 1*8*T, Jan 8, 1950. The * looks like a screw head, S was 1949, T 1950, months may vary from about Oct 1949--March 1950, most should be Dec 1949-March 1950, depending on when it was built. There are several sources for replacment tags -- try OEM tractor parts. BUT, lack of a serial tag is a red flag, kind of "undocuments" the white paint. I have a "white" C, with a replacement tag. But, I painted it red.
